Password for shared content

Hi ! I have a Mycloud EX 2 Ultra unit. I need to share some content with family and friends but I have not the possibility of protect the link with password :frowning:

I dont know if is posible to protect the shared link. In case of yes, can someone explain me how to get it?

Otherwise, if I can’t protect the shared link with password, I’m thinking in create a folder in my external server (Ex: https://mywebsite.com/folder), protect /folder with password in htacces file and redirect it to the URL of shared content in Mycloud EX2.

Some doubts:

  1. Google index/read URL of content shared links in Mycloud EX2?
  2. How much is the security level of this link?
  3. Do you think that create a folder in my external server (Ex: https://mywebsite.com/folder), protect /folder with password in htacces file and redirect it to the URL of shared content in Mycloud EX2 is a secure method?
