I have been split my 1TB hard disk to 2 drives
and I want to know how can I set password for Just one drive ?
because I’m using Wd Smartware 1.4.5.2 and when I set password it set the password for all passport hard disk drives
Just make sure the drive you want to have a password is the only drive connected at the moment you create the password.
Is Thers’s a way to connect by one dirve, what I mean is
If I spliit 1 tb to tow drives 500 tb ,
is there’s a way to connect by 1 drive to set password for it ??!!!
No, the encryption of the Passport is for the Passport -itself-, not for independent volumes or partitions. I thought you had 2 physical drives instead of a partitioned drive, my bad.
