Passport Ultra not recognised on Mac

Hi, bought brand new yesterday. Light continuously flashes but can’t find in MAC HD, install won’t complete - can’t copy paste to WD. Any idea’s? Thanks

The following +TURBO drivers were missing after the install:
/System/Library/Extensions/WD1394HPDriver.kext
/System/Library/Extensions/WDUSBHPDriver.kext
It will not be possible to complete the install

tried to format in HD but its not visible either
