Passport pro reading as two physical drives on macOS

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help me.

I’ve just swapped over from an iMac to a Mac mini. I had a 4Tb Thunderbolt passport pro. it was partitioned into 2 equal sizes for a couple of reasons. Now I want to resize it to 1/3tb for backup/storage. However, the Mac is currently seeing the drive as 2 separate physical drives and I can’t work out how to reparation them into one drive.
