I’m sure I wrecked my drive by not having patience while I waited it to end whatever it was doing to pull it out. When plugged in it lights up and I can hear it running but my computer doesn’t recognize it. When looking under device manager it isn’t there. I eventually found it as a hidden drive. I tried to update the driver and it said it was up to date. Then it was recommended that I uninstall the driver so I did. Now it no longer shows up anywhere! I was hoping after uninstalling it that it would magically get recognized when plugging it back in but that didn’t happen. Anyone have any other ideas on what I can do. I was in the process of backing everything up and didn’t finish so I have precious photos and videos of my family on there that I need to recover! Thanks in advance!
I will add that I have tried multiple computers, multiple USB ports and a new cord.
