My WD Passport is not being recognized by WD Drive Utilites. It just says no drive attached. Also I can no longer safley remove the drive. I am using Windows 7 Ult and have everything execpt the lastest firmware installed because I can’t install it correctly without safley removing the drive.
When trying to watch movies on my passport the media player freezes and the drive can no longer be read from unless I shut down and restart it.
Try testing the drive on another computer.
Make sure to try a different port, preferably the ports on the back of the computer.
Tried both before I posted same issues. Any real answers?
