Passport device error 0x8007045D-what's this?

My new Passport stopped working during the first attempted file transfer (small photo files). A wasted day and now data lost. What is this error please and is there anything I can do about it?

i get the same message! Can’t copy any data to the drive but i aslo can’t take it from the drive!!
