Passport cable dead. What to do?

Hello.

It seems one of my passport cables are dead. The drives works great with the cable from another drive.

Iv tested several other cables from cameras etc laying around, but no go. Why is that?

Also Iv understood this is a problem, but does anyone have an cheep way to get a new one? Since a brand new casing costs 5-6$ on ebay, I hoped to get the cable for far less.

Hi, the longer the cable the less energy the passport will get, your best bet is to contact tech support and see if you can get  a replacement.
