Mike…I have the same 1TB Passport and am running the Backup. I had some issues about Schedules not running…but that is off subject.
- try rt mouse the icon, and select Open
- try rt mouse and check Properties for location of executable. Find .exe using Explorer
- open Control Panel and select Uninstall Program to view the WD Backup version…mine is currently 1.9.7375.5719…I believe there is an update that I’m planning on once I resolve my schedule backup not running…My Scheduled Passport Backup did not run on my Schedule and no Indicator as to WHY not, - #4 by HowAboutMe
- does double click icons work on other icons on this desktop.
