I bought 7 of these drives to be utilized for a backup scheme. And so far, 3 out of the 7 have no light on them at all. Yet they show up and work fine on the OS. The others have the little white LED I’ve come to expect from these drives. Anyone have any ideas why there would be no light at all? I am wondering if I should be RMA’ing them.

There is no option to turn this light on or off. If it is not turning on it means it is not working. If you want to get them replaced you should check the link below.
