Hey folks -
I bought an external 2TB WD Desktop in 2012. It generally functions to be fine (I can access/explore it via Windows Explorer), although there have been a few times when it didn’t auto backup like it was supposed to. When I scan it using Win7 Error Checking it passes. When I do a quick or full scan using WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics it fails.
Could this be a problem with the LifeGuard software? I’m assuming not and that I should definitely replace the drive…
