Paragon HDM14 backups fail

I have WDMYCloudEX4 on a personal network connected to two home computers. When I try to back on my cloud with Paragon’s software ( I have tried several times) I get an error message that the software cannot write a file. This occurs after Hard Disk Manager 14 has written many giga bytes to my cloud. Paragon support after seeing some diagnostice files that I have sent them said that my cloud is not connected. Do I have to set some parameters for MY Cloud to keep it from disconnecting. I do not have the unit go to sleep.

Try setting up a Static IP on the device see if by doing this it helps the unit not to disconnect. Check out the following link for help with static ip setup on your device:
