I am unable to reset my password in order to create a RMA to return a defective passport drive
Comment is Inactive_owner_or_user is inactive.

It seems that your account has been inactive as you have not used your WD Support Portal account from a very long time. You should contact WD Support in order to reactivate the account and to create the RMA.
