Hello, 

I’m using a MyBookLiveDuo 4tb with Macosx latest update mountain lion.

Access to folders in Mybook is…critical. I have to wait sometime 1 our to have only the list of the files.

Copy and paste sometimes it takes our for 100mb.

Its orrible!

And after last firmware update, the DLNA server does no exist anymore!

i’m very unhappy with Mybooklive duo.

Is the problem that MacOsx Lion uses only NETATALK for Nas?

it shouldn’t be this bad even on Mountain Lion

how are you connecting to the drive?

Try mapping the drive and see if connection is faster

I acces the drive via LAN and it’s mapped

I’m having exactly the same problems with a 2TB MBL. Uploading and downloading anything takes forever. This NAS is quickly turning out to be the worst perchase I ever made. The Only upside is that WD2go on my mobile devices can be lightning fast. 

How do I go about mapping the drive?

Is there any chance you can help me mapping my drive? So I can try and improve it’s very poor proformance.  How do I go about this??
