Hello,

I read the message that OS5 will not be available for MyCloud Mirror Gen1 at this time.

Does this mean that it will be available later or is the Gen1 EOL.

According to the link discribed by @Jonty.S this means that the Gen1 Mycloud Mirror is eol. No new firmwares will be released for this device. Final firmware is 2. 12.127.
To bad because it is still stuck on php5.4.
For most apps you would need php7.
