Why is the system (using WD USB Backup software and latest version of OS5 on a PR4100) copying files that cannot be seen or accessed on the NAS unit “share.”
Without a way to browse the “share” directory (I am not aware of anything in OS5) directly I cannot even begin to troubleshoot.
On resulting USB backup drive, files appear at the same level as the backup named directory (above the share directory). (See below redacted clips)
Is the filing system on the NAS leaking, duplicating or loosing files?
How can I troubleshoot? Has happened three times now and each time, it is different files.
