OS X Mountain Lion

I have installed Mountain Lion, not tried to use TM with MBL but everything else seems OK so far.  The only thing that hasn’t worked is Parallels which is less than a year old yet they want the poor old consumer to stump up over half of what it cost new to upgrade and twice the price of the ML upgrade.  There are thousands of complaints on the web about this sharp practice.

Hello everybody!

I just updated to Mountain Lion, did all the software updates and wanted to try out Time Machine.

Problem: Time Machine reports, that the image could not be accessed, Error 13…

In Finder, I do see MybookLive and I can access my Shares, like Documents, Photos etc. (which I created).

Also the User Interface is available through the browser.

MBL firmware is the recent one, it says “no update available”.

So, whats the problem here?! ;-(

Will there be a firmware update or is it a Mountain Lion issue?

Thx in advance for your help!

All the best,

David

after posting this issue to the apple support forum, the solution came out:

You have to add the MBL again and conncet as a GUEST and not as a registered user. THIS is the solution!

So, problem solved, no firmware update needed for that one!!

Signing in as guest for TM backups to MBL is normal practise surely?

Hi. I’m new here.

I just installed Mountain Lion. Everything seems ok.

But I noticed that I can’t login to “MyBookLive.local/UI/Login”

In Safari, it just hangs everytime I load it.

How do I resolve this issue? Or am I the only one experiencing this.

I’m using a late 2010 MacBookAir 13" and the WD MyBookLive 2TB NAS

I hope WD is working on it

I dont have this kind of problem under Mountain Lion and Safari.

But I already have firmware version 02.11.12-060.
