OS X (10.11) El Capitan Finder Connection Failure

We’ve recently discovered that My Cloud users accessing their units with Apple Macs having the newest OS X version, (10.11) (El Capitan), using the Finder function are experiencing connection failures. We understand this issue, which we’re investigating for a solution, is consistent with other NAS systems and not specific to WD.

In the meantime, WD users experiencing the problem still can use WD’s MyCloud.com site or WD Sync to access their data with a Mac on OS X 10.11; or, they can work around the issue with Finder by following steps outlined in WD’s knowledge base ( answer 13182): http://support.wdc.com/KnowledgeBase/answer.aspx?ID=13182 .
