I have an IMac with Catalina. I bought this 1 T external Hardrive from Amazon slightly less than a year ago. I’ve been seeing a message that the Time Machine can’t back up, and I was thinking I’d have to dump it and start fresh. Then this message came up: Mac OS can’t repair the Disk ‘elements’. You can still open or copy files on the disk but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up disk and reformat it as soon as you can.
I’ve had two Mac people say it’s about to crash. I do have a warranty until next year. Is it save-able or not? Thanks
