2 weeks ago I upgraded my cloud mirror to OS 5. I downloaded the OS 5 android app (the orange one). I tried to sign in with my regular password, but the SIGN IN button doesn’t become clickable (the letters stay grey instead of white).
I experimented with different password formats, and it seems that it needs a minimum of 8 both upper and lower case characters and numbers, before the button becomes active.
My existing password does not contain any upper case characters, so I tried many times to reset to what appears to be a compliant passwork, but the link supposed to be sent by email is never received.
I raised the problem with WD support, but the guy I am dealing with must be on a 2 week sleeping binge.
After 2 weeks without remote access I am desperate … can anyone help me please.
BTW, I don’t think it is relevant yet as I just want to sign in to the app, but I am a long way away from the my cloud device, and cannot get to it for a few more weeks
