I have a MyCloud Home NAS and have configured Sync Folders setup and do have many files read and written to the NAS daily.
My primary computer local permanent storage is SSD and I also have a normal SATA HDD for high capacity storage.
What I have discovered recently is that my SSD total written capacity increases much faster since I started using MyCloud Home. I verified with Windows Resource Manager and found that WD Desktop writes cache into %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\WDDesktop\Data\cache
How do I disable this cache? or better still, please support the standard SMB NAS protocol so that I wont require the WD Desktop to connect to it.
