hello, when i bought my wd my passport i first used it on a pc and stored all my files in the program that comes with it (cant remember how its called), now i use my passport on my mac and i cant open that program because thous are .exe files. is there any way i can open the sync program without formatting the external drive? thank you!
Download NTFS 3Gfrom the apple website, and you will be able to use the drive on a Mac without formatting the drive.-
If you used Smartware for the backup you’ll probably need it to recover the files.
