Opening a backed up USER Folder on New Computer

I have my entire Windows 7 computer backed up using WD software. When I mount the drive to my new computer or another computer it will allow me to access the WDstor folder and even access files from the C Drive. However when I try and access one of the user names in the User Folder, it does nothing. Just double click with no action. Says zero K. When I take the drive to the original computer I can access the User Folders no problem and grab individual files one by one. How do I allow or get the new computer to allow access to this folder?
