So I’ve recently made the transfer from a Mac, back to a PC. Before making the move I saved all the files from my Mac onto My Passport. Now that my Windows laptop is up and running I’d like to transfer my files from My Passport to it. This includes my CV, scanned documents, around 30gb worth of music, and hundreds of baby photos of my son.
The drive doesn’t show up at all on my laptop. Advice I’ve seen involves reformatting the drive, but obviously I’d rather not do that as I understand it’d involved erasing all of the data on it. Is there a way to transfer the files on to my laptop without formatting it? Obviously once the files have transferred and saved onto my laptop I’ll gladly reformat it to Windows.
Am not very good at this as I’ve just come to Windows 8. Any ‘‘noob’’ help I will be EXTREMELY grateful for!
