Only "N" USB wireless adapters supported?

#1

Hi,

is it so, that all the supported USB wireless adapters are of type 802.11n? It appears so by looking at the list, though I didn’t check for details on each adapter. If this is assumption is true, does it also hold for any possible additions to the supported list? Can I stop holding my breath expecting for support for Philips SNU5600, which is based on the seemingly common ZD1211(B) chipset? ( http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/zd1211rw/devices)

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t hold my breath on any specific card becoming supported.  You are probably stuck with what’s offered on the compatibility list, now.

I know from personal experience that WUSB100 V2 (Current Linksys Retail Version) works perfectly and it is B/G compatible.
