hello,
I can not upgrade firmware of my WD TV Live beyond Ver. 1.02.21_V :angry: If I try upgrading it then video lose voice. Plase help. How to fix this issue.

Thats problem of new firmware in 90% members here with new firmware 01.04.10 for live if i understand !
I also have problem that with 1.03.49v & 1.04.10v !
And my suggest is to stay in 1.02.21 its stable firmware !
Also with some problems in some mkv and mp4 is not readable but all sounds work fine including aac 5.1 too ( As WD doesn’t wont to confirm that ) In this firmware sound works perfect for me with AAC 5.1 too !
I just wait new updates ( firmware ) and also this time i wait that see how firmware works and positive and negative posts than i try tham !
This last firmware is disaster !
Oh!!! Okay… So am not alone. There have been at least 4-5 releases after 1.02.21_V and none of the release works

Before you start chasing firmware issues, let’s have a look at the MEDIAINFO for a few of your files that ARE NOT playing after 1.02.21.
I do with media customer s that and all files have issue avi, mkv, … all and after few tickets i get message that i reset tham and thats funny as i tell tham that i do all that things ! After i done that for tham and tell tham that is not help me i dont get any answer anymore …
Thats in my case and wish luck to original poster of this topic / thread whatever if he wonts to play with 1.04.10 also have problem with some usb sticks and its pain to back in 1.2.21 if this firmware doesnt recknognize usb like happen to me …
I also no answer after he or she posted media info that will be no answer or will be massage wd team works on problem !
