Only administrator's username and password work when logging into the MyCloud via ftp remotely

Everything is set up correctly as far as I can tell with port forwarding and access. When I log into the ftp via remote broswer with my admin username and password it works fine. But I created a new user/password (for a friend) and I am unable to log in the same way. The new user is set to have full access to shares as well.

Thanks for the info. But this is the guide I initially followed. I CAN log in with the admin credentials, but not the additional users I created. That’s my issue.
