One disk is dead


After three years to buy my cloud EX2, i have decided to set up it.
Between 2 disks, one was dead even kit was never used.
I would like to know what i have to do.
Can i use only one disk or how to replace it ?

There is a dedicated subforum for the My Cloud EX2 series where users more familiar with that device may be able to assist. This subforum (My Cloud) is generally for the single bay/single drive My Cloud units.

If you haven’t done so already you may want to read through the My Cloud EX2 User Manual with may explain how to configure the EX2 for use with a single drive.

If you purchased the EX2 unit and the hard drives were included with the unit you may want to contact WD Technical Support directly and enquirer about drive replacement.
