Older WD Passport - WD Sync Issues

I have an older WD Passport that uses WD Sync. I would like to access the data from my new laptop-Windows 7.

How can I access the Data Base (.db) files?

Please note that all the files are encrypted and through the standards procedures, the information needs to be retrieve with the same app (WD Sync)

As a recommendation, get an old pc and restore the files to that pc and then copy the files manually to the drive so you can move that manually to the new one.
