Hello,

I have a 5 year old MyBook that I have used as a image storage Device and I wanted to transfer those images to my new system (Win 7 / 1 TB hard drive). Whenever I start to make any transfers to my new HD the transfer process gets slower and slower and eventually hangs up. I am runing 10 GB memory and a 2 GB video card so I wouldn’t think I have a memory issue.

Are there any new drivers out there? I have been unable to locate any for this USB 2.0 device.

this does not look like a driver issue

try testing the drive to verify and repair

you can backup and reformat the drive

you can also defragment for better performance
