From blog history, WD team support on offline related problems remains traditionally unsolved. My device went offline and showed no drive since yesterday, July 9 2021.
All attempts by WD chat staff could not resolve it.
The IP could be pinned and the router has its MAC address. This is a frustrating moment with over 4 Tb data resident for 3 years. What is the best solution to this?
