Offline editing

Hi,

Is there anyway I can do offline editing on my WD MBL, and then when I am connected to the internet, it will sync the files? Basically, I would like the MBL to behave like a dropbox or G-Drive account. Can I do that by mapping the drive onto my desktop?

Or is there a program that does that? I found this online…does anyone else have experience with programs like this?

Hi,

You can try owncloud or BitTorrentSync Beta.

Each has its advantages but I don’t think personally that they are ready for production.
