NTP Time Service

#1

The NTP time update service doesn’t show the correct time on my system. Even after adding a another custom ntp server, 0.europe.pool.ntp.org,  the time is still two hours off (GMT +01:00 Madrid).

NTP Service fails!

Reset the NAS and verify if it does the same thing… More info on how to reset in the following link:

Hope it helps…

This may sound like a dumb question, but are you sure you have the timezone set correctly?  NTP does NOT carry time offset information; it only determines UTC time.

My MBL has the correct time:

Mine ntp server works fine with MBL. time is correct.

So I suggest you just try different ntp server.

Thanks for your help guys.

I got it working after two reboots, so I don’t really know what happened, maybe it has something to do with a power cut we had in our area this morning.

Power cuts SUX bigtime… please buy at least basic UPS to protect your hardware.
