Using WD TV Live, usind 1.05.18 firmware.
have noticed that when I change the output resolution in the settings, this is not saved when the unit is powered off. All other settings sound etc seem to save OK. Is this normal?
Yes, not remembering video settings has been a problem with the WD box for a long time now. I have been posting about this problem for well over a year now, and there have been many other posts about this issue.
There is not much we can do about it except to report it to WD and hope that enough people complain so that WD will finally fix this problem. I sincerely hope that WD fixes this problem before abandoning firmware support on the Live/Live Plus. If WD fixes this bug it would solve many problems that get reported here on this forum.
