Not detecting hard drive

Hi My WD LIve will not detecting my seagate external hard drive. It always had, up to this point. The light just flashes. I’ve plugged the HD into my PC works fine. Plugged a smaller flash drive into WD, works find. I have an older WD, tried it on that one,  won’t work on that also. Checked fermware updates, all ok. Did factory reset, nothing. What gives.??
