Not Connecting To My Network

I’ve had my My Cloud disconnected for awhile since I didn’t have a laptop or PC to use. I recently hooked it back up and when it’s plugged in to my router (Which was recently upgraded as well) All I get on the WD My Cloud is a blinking amber light on the front. Not sure if it’s the drive or my network.

I did do a reset as well but still nothing.

As a troubleshooting step try connecting the My Cloud directly to the computer’s networking port. Another troubleshooting step is to put a network switch between the My Cloud and router.

In certain rare instances certain routers conflict with the My Cloud and may cause a blinking error light on the front of the My Cloud. The workaround is to put a network switch between the My Cloud and router. WD has a knowledgebase article on this particular issue.
