I know it is fanless, so this must be coming from the drive itself, but for the last few days, I have been hearing a near constant noise from my drive.

It sounds like a fan, even if it isn’t.

It is too loud to keep the drive on my desk, and in the room I am in now, with silence otherwise, I can hear it 10 feet away.

Anyone else experienced this?

I should add, it isn’t disk access style noise, it’s a constant hissing sound.

Try running the drive test from the Dashboard to verify if there is any issues with it.
