No web interface, without ssh and ftp access. On My book Live 3To

I have no idea on Serviio as I have never installed it.
You should be able to delete the public folder by logging into the drive with WinSCP and going to /DataVolume/Shares and right clicking on the public share and deleting it. (The share may recreate on a reboot though)
To check the Smart status of your drive login to the drive with PuTTY and type
smartctl -A /dev/sda
Look for a line with a high number of errors in the output. This could point to a faulty hard drive.
Post the output here if possible.
If the output looks good then something is still going bad when you are running the debrick script.

that give me that message:

SMART Disabled. Use option -s with argument ‘on’ to enable it.

So i enable it and everything works now, that’s so weird, why is it not enable by default?

shall i have to enable it at each reboot?

Thank You guy, you rox!

Yes it should be enabled by default. Not sure why it wasn’t in your case. I wouldn’t be surprised if you reboot the drive you would have to enable it again. Hopefully the next firmware update will straighten that issue out for you as it seems something is just a little bit off on your MBL. Then again you might not want to upgrade as it will wipe out all the mods you have made on the drive :stuck_out_tongue:
