I’m falling at the secomd hurdle of the set up process. I’ve connected the My Cloud to the network box, dowloaded the set up software, but it can’t find WD My Cloud. The blue light is solid. What can I try to resolve this?

Download and read the User Manual.
Find the IP address assigned by your router to the MyCloud; you will need to access your router’s UI to do this.
Enter that IP address in a web browser. This will give you access to the MyCloud’s UI, called the Dashboard. You can set up all the functions of the MyCloud from there.
