No way to choose the option "Partition"

Hi Everybody,
I’ve just received a new My Book 3To and I’ve tried to make a partition for my Mac (I’ve installed OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 but I can’t do anything !
No way to choose the option “Partition” the only choices I had are to cancel all or to eject my drive !
Someone have tried with “El Capitan” ?

How are you trying to partition your unit? Did you click the hard drive’s capacity? Or did you select the hard drive’s name instead under Disk Utility?
