No space left on my WD drive

My WD external drive is reporting being 100% full. Can I somehow reformat or delete what’s on the drive so that I can start over again. Or does it remove the oldest info and replace with the latest info?  I’m not too computer literate so any instructions would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hello,

The best option is to go through the folders and delete the files that you no longer need.

Please note that formating the drive will erase all the information on the drive.
