Hello, I have with my WD TV Live the problem, that movies on the external hard drive attached to my NAS ( Synology DS 212j ), doesn’t play sound.
The soundtrack ( English / German ) can be chosen without any problems , even fast forward and rewind works . If you move the file to the internal hard drives , or connect it directly to the player, it works .
Would be nice if someone could check , because on my TV ( Samsung ES 6300 ) , Mobile Phone ( HTC E8 ) and PC the sound plays without problems . Firmware is up to date.
How do you play the files? Do you use Media Servers or do you use Network Shares?

That’s a strange one, Prototyp. What file type is the movie? Are they all the same file type or can some be played successfully? What about mp3’s off the same drive?
