No sound BD isos

I have found little info on this.

Should I be getting sound via HDMI on  BD isos?

Or am I required to use digital or RCA for BD sound?

I had in mind this to be a portable solution, will be difficult if I must bring along a digital decoder/sound system.

Other than some feature reqs this gen2 rocks.

Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Lab. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.

No sound from blu-ray is a feature req? Are you saying WD meant to play blu-ray but without the sound?

Sorry.  I evidently mis-read/misunderstood your post.  I thought you were saying… actually I’m not sure now what you were saying.  However, you should be getting sound out of your HDMI if you have the sound set to Stereo.  If you have the sound set to Digital, the sound will go through the TOS/link.

Google says I am not alone. Maybe a firmware update? Will have to check again, last time I checked a bad FW was released.
