No sound anymore!

After using my new Hub for a few days, I paused to repackage several movies to MKV.  Went back to try them out and…no sound.  Not from the movies, not from YouTube or Mediafly, nothing.  I’m sure I’ve done some newb thing and pressed a button or something but I’ve tried all the audio setting and nothing seems to make any difference.  Surely this has happened to someone else before - any advice?  I’m stumped.

Something like this happened to me once and I had to pull the power cord to get the sound working again.

Did you accidentally press the MUTE button?

No.  I’m a newb but not that new.

Shazam!  Sounds like the box must be running Windows…but they forgot to provide a reboot command.  That did the trick, thx.

Heh…  Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off as derogatory.     

This has actually happened to a number of folks.   The Hub doesn’t give ANY indication of mute being ON; just when it’s CHANGED.   That might have changed in recent versions, though…
