NO remote and new modem/router

So we have lost our remote for my WD TV Live SMP, which was not an issue as I downloaded the mobile remote app. However we have just put in a new router and now because the media player is not on the same wireless as my phone the app won’t work, rendering my media player useless. 

Is there any way to fix this short of buying new??

How does someone actually “loose” a large remote control?  Whatever, buy one from the WD Store or eBay.

Why isn’t the phone and WD player on the same network?

Well, you can buy a new (via the WD store) or used (via eBay) remote control.

But unfortunately, you must have an actual remote.

do you have any remote that is multi-device ie programable often TV remotes, receiver remotes, etc can be programmed

Plug in a USB keyboard and you can try to use it in the mean time.
