No red LED in front view when no network available

Unfortunately I have “upgraded” my MBL to firmware 02.11.12-060 some days ago (I know the update is not available anymore at the moment)

Now I have the following misbehaviour of my MBL: Each time when I switch off my wlan router the MBL starts to blink green with some minor red blinks in between. the normal behaviour - a constant red led because of missing network connection - is not existing anymore.

when the WLAN router is switched on, the MBL seems to work correct, at least I can access all files and it goes to energy saving mode (blue led) when not accessed.

a restart of the MBL did no change in behaviour!

Has anyone an idea what this does mean?

can i go back to the old firmware without new problems?

You wont be able to rollback the firmware, so you can either replace it, or wait for the new firmware to be available to see if that solves the problem.

I wouldn’t worry about a misbehaving LED…

There’s plenty of other things to worry about.   :slight_smile:

At any rate, I never even look at mine, and there HAVE been reports of LEDs displaying the wrong colors (or none at all) when everything else is normal.

So if you don’t care about the color and everything else is working great, then be happy.  ;)
