No Netflix, HuluPlus, Pandora, etc on US WDTV Device

Just purchased WDTV WDBHG70000NBK-01 from Amazon.  I plugged everything…got internet access, but no critical apps: eg netflix, huluplus, blockbuster, pandora, etc.  I’m in the US in Seattle WA.  Most of the threads I can find on this topic were of Canadian or UK origins.  Have even done a hard reset with firmware update 1.07.18

any idea on how to remedy?
