No media available

Wonder if anyone has had this problem?

Had WDTV live for sometime and for the last couple of weeks had a problem with music file. I normal share with Meida Server and WDTV plays photos, plays videos but when trying to play music it comes up with “no media available for playback”. Then involves me re-sharing folder and unplugging WDTV until it works.

Any ideas if this can be resolved?

Does the same problem occur when you are using the network share feature on the media player? I would also like to know the type of media server your using with he unit .

Hi

I have never used the network share feature, will give this a go and see if any difference. I link from pc which has windows 7 running.
