I have the My Photos app installed and I have a MyBook world edition and when I log into the MioNet Website, I can see my WDStorage - Network Drive. But my app always says No Devices Found. I have restarted the WD drive a few times without any luck.
Has anyone with an Android phone gotten this to work?
I have version 1.0.0 of the app and MioNet on my PC is version 4.2.27 and it sees the drive.

Have you registered your MyBook World Edition with MioNet? If you click the ‘Help Me Get Started’ button on the welcome screen of WD Photos app - it will guide you through the steps of linking your MBWE to MioNet. MioNet should be running 4.3 on your NAS.
WD Photos doesn’t access photos on your PC - just your NAS through MioNet.

Yes, it’s registered, I can login on the app but it just says No Devices Found. I can see the MyBook World on the Mionet web site also.
Also, all I have is MioNet Basic. Do you need to upgrade in order for this to work?

What is the model number of your My Book World? Please also let us know your MioNet username. You can send it in a message if you prefer.
The Model number looks like Wd10000g032
It was pretty small to read. Username is the same as this board.
Ah, that sounds like the model with the blue ring. Can you confirm? WD Photos supports the My Book World Edition with the white light, Share space, and the new My Book Live. The blue ring product isn’t supported (legacy).
Yes it does have the blue ring. I did not realize that this version was not supported. I guess it’s now for sale.
Hi I have the same problem. I can see the device wih my PC and trough internet using Mionet. However, impossible with my HTC Desire HD (android 2.2). My disk is a My world edition II (white ligth).
