“Going back to your earlier posts. SectorGZ asked you why your images were for MyBook Live setups. I don’t see an obvious reply.”
Yeah,I did state that the setup.exe is the one from the WD site on this link:-
http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=904&sid=207&lang=en
its accessed by selecting the MyWDcloud drive and specs from the wd support page..and thats whats displayed on THAT setup file when it
s run.

“Just to be absolutely sure: is that router screen grab current?”
Yes - taken yesterday.
“If you go to Safari on one of the iPads and enter 192.168.1.3/UI in the address bar, what happens?”
Exactly the same, 404.
“What device do you have? A MyCloud (white), or a MyBook Live (black)?”
MyCloud (white). 3TB
( I do actually have both but the black mybook drive is just an external drive and connected via USB to the windows 7 machine).
(Dont worry about being blunt, direct is always a good approach & I
m grateful for your help).
The ipads and 1 laptop are not in the screengrab I posted because they are lower down on the same screen working on wi-fi, the ones displayed are the wired or ethernet connections including the myWDCloud drive & the IP addresses ARE different on all of them , there seems to be no conflict if this is what you are looking for.
I HAVE actually run both the setup from MY link and from yours both (supposedly) being FOR Mycloud, if the one I downloaded has MyBook displayed then I think it`s in the wrong place as I definitely selected the Cloud drive setup & NOT the mybook setup.
This is what I see when running the setup from YOUR link:-

i.e. its not booting into the devices operating system or the address is not accessible, I tend to think its the actual device. This is what I saw when i first tried to set the device up after downloading the setup installer last year, it IS possible I guess I
ve hit the wrong link when trying yesterday and thats why its showing Mybook but the issues the same as when I run the setup installer from your link its exactly the same.
Clearing my credentials does not work btw, & to be honest I did not think it would as Im seeing the same issue on ALL my PC
s with windows 7, windows 8.1 Pro and vista. It`s unlikely the same issue would affect all the machines. Also as a side note,Two of them have local accounts and are not connected to my microsoft account.
edit:- one further note, the windows 7 machine has a virgin install on ( I re-installed it about a week ago). also there are four PCs - three PC
s are hard wired - (ethernet), - one is on wifi, the one NOT shown on the router screengrab is a linux machine which is usually switched off and was at the time of the grab (it`s IP address is different again).
